Good afternoon everyone,
As we round out Term 3, I want to take a moment to reflect on all we’ve achieved as a school community and provide some insight into what’s coming next term.
I encourage you to review the newsletter sent out today, which includes important updates and celebrations of the great things happening in our community. It’s a great way to stay connected and informed about everything we’re achieving together.
A Huge Thank You to Our Year 4 Production Team
A special shout-out goes to our incredible Year 4 students, their families, teachers, and the wonderful Ms. Maria for all the hard work and commitment that went into the production. The dedication shown by everyone involved truly brought the performance to life. The energy, creativity, and enthusiasm of the students were evident in every scene, and it was fantastic to see so many of our families in the audience, supporting the students and celebrating their success.
Productions like this don’t happen without a significant amount of behind-the-scenes effort, and I want to express my gratitude to everyone involved in making it such a memorable event.
Looking Ahead to Term 4
As we turn our attention to Term 4, I’m excited to begin sharing more detailed information about our transition to explicit instruction and structured literacy. This shift will support our vision of providing all students with a consistent, high-quality approach to their learning, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
Next term, I will be using these updates to give you a clearer understanding of what explicit instruction looks like in practice and why it’s so important for student success. You can also expect to hear directly from classrooms, with examples of how these changes are being implemented and the impact they are having on student learning.
This will be a significant journey for us as a school, and I’m looking forward to keeping you informed every step of the way.
Wishing You a Restful and Enjoyable Break
As we head into the holidays, I wish everyone a well-deserved break. It’s been a busy term, and I hope you all get the chance to relax and recharge. I look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for what promises to be an exciting and productive Term 4.
Warm regards,
