Port Melbourne Primary School has always had a strong tradition of students wearing a uniform. The royal blue and red colour associated with the school is known and recognised around the wider City of Port Philip community, giving students a sense of belonging and a degree of security. The uniform assists the students to feel pride in their school and themselves.

Students are required to wear the uniform during school hours, travelling to and from school and on school excursions.

Uniform supplier

All uniform items can be purchased through PSW retail shop, the official uniform supplier of Port Melbourne Primary School. They are located at Unit 1, 128 Bertie Street, Port Melbourne.

House colour tops

Belonging to and working together in teams (houses) helps to build cohesion, school and team spirit, self esteem and encourage responsibility. At Port Melbourne Primary School each student is designated into a house upon enrollment and remains in the house for their life at the school. Points are earned during the school year through various competitions and activities. The houses are:

  • Beacon (red house)
  • Lagoon (green house)
  • Sandridge (yellow house)
  • Hobson (blue house)

House t-shirts are available for purchase via the Parent Hub.
